This is the 2D Platform Assignment for week 4 in the Game Design and Development Course from Michigan State University. 

Developer name: Gabriel de Paula Santos

Modifications:

  1. When the Player gets in contact with acid:
    • The player gets tinted green
    • The Player slows down, indicating it's submerged in acid
    • The acid pool turns semi-transparent, giving the visuals of the player being submerged
  2. Added a new enemy that shoots blue energy projectiles toward the player every few seconds
  3. Added a new mechanic for the acid pool where acid drops are shot upwards.
  4. Added a final Boss enemy with energy shooters and larger health.
  5. When the boss is killed, it spawns the final red stone as the objective to finish the level.
